The workload and emotional burden on teachers has decreased in 2023 after the peak of 2019, but this has not yet translated into a decrease in work stress and burnout complaints. This is evident from the Workability Monitor of the Social and Economic Council of Flanders (SERV), a large-scale workability measurement that maps the quality of jobs in Flanders every four years.
