Sharon High School girls basketball preview

SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – Coach Mallory Torr takes over a Sharon program that returns five letter winners (Jamoria Crumby, Jasmine McGee, Niyonna Amos, Taylor Ragsdale-Holden) from an 11-win team.

“We’ll look to play consistent; battle nightly in a competitive region,” says Torr. “I expect juniors and seniors to lead by example; display veteran their leadership. I also expect the sophomore group to contribute big minutes while having some help from a hardworking freshmen group.”

Coach Torr added, “We have some size in the post with quick guards that’ll allow us to pressure the ball and play up tempo [basketball].”

The Tigers will open its season on Friday, Nov. 29 in the Meadville Tip-Off Classic.
