Sonora’s football game at Redlands East Valley that was scheduled for Friday has been postponed because of fires and air-quality issues in the area around Redlands East Valley High School.
The nonleague game has been rescheduled for Sept. 27 at Redlands East Valley, Sonora coach Kevin Oberlander said Wednesday. Both teams had a bye on that date, so it was easy to reschedule the game for that date.
Sonora is 1-2 and Redlands East Valley is 0-3.
