Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is finally here. The long-awaited sequel has made its way to PC and consoles with all-around positive reviews from players and critics.
To the PC crowd, the Space Marine 2 system requirements aren’t that intense. However, if your PC hasn’t been updated in a few years, it might not be able to run it. If you’re looking to experience this game to the fullest potential, here are the Space Marine 2 PC requirements.

If you’re looking to run the game on Ultra settings or better, here are the recommended Space Marine 2 PC requirements.

These PC specs are good enough to run Space Marine 2 at 60 FPS in 1920×1080 on Ultra preset settings. If you want a higher frame rate and/or the graphics to be better, slightly bumping up your graphics card, processor, and RAM size should allow for higher performance.
In addition, the specs on both recommended and minimum require an SSD, allowing textures and environments to load faster. Otherwise, loading into multiplayer matches or even advancing into campaign missions can get finicky.
If you’re running on a budget PC, but still want to play Space Marine 2 on it, here are the minimum requirements.

The lower specs will allow the PC to run the game on 30 FPS with the low preset. If graphics and frame rate don’t concern your gaming experience, these are the bare minimum Space Marine 2 system requirements.
If you’re looking to bump it to 60 FPS, look to upgrade the processor and the graphics card. Upgrading one without the other will produce varying results.
What’s Better? Recommended vs. Minimum For Space Marine 2 PC Specs
While Saber Interactive advises players to have the likes of a RTX 3070, 16 GB of RAM, and an Intel i7 processor, there’s nothing wrong with going a little below that.
So long as you don’t mind running the game on medium to high settings, the PC should run fine. The recommended settings are for those who want a 60 FPS experience while on the Ultra preset settings.
The beauty of PC gaming is being able to adjust the settings to your heart’s content. If you have the recommended Space Marine 2 PC requirements but want a higher frame rate, adjust the graphics settings until you reach a steady frame rate.
There’s nothing wrong with running Space Marine 2 on the minimum settings, but if you can upgrade certain parts of your rig to receive higher frames/graphic settings, then go for it.
