STONEBORO, Pa. (WKBN) — A Mercer County man has been arrested after a child was brought to a local hospital late last month.
According to a Mercer County PSP report, troopers were called to a UPMC hospital in Greenville on October 23 to investigate injuries to a seven-month-old.
The report states the infant had multiple bruises on their face, scratches on their left shoulder and back, and a spiral fracture to their left arm.
Medical staff told troopers this type of fracture was concerning and showed signs of abuse of a non-mobile child, according to the report.
Following an investigation, Cameron Gehr, 21 of Stoneboro, was arrested for aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering children.
Court records state that Gehr posted an unsecured $50,000 bond. He is set to be arraigned on January 7 of next year.
