Fans will always believe twin sisters are super close forever, but Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry have decided to keep each other out of their personal lives. This is truly sad because sisterly bond is very special, but they have their own reasons for doing so.
In fact, Tamera had no clue that her twin sister had chosen not to share significant parts of her life anymore, especially in the dating scene.
Tia and Tamera Mowry Are No Longer Close With Each Other
Twin sisters Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry rose to fame for their appearances in the popular ‘90s sitcom Sister, Sister and their reality television series Tia & Tamera which aired in 2011 and ran for three seasons.
They had always been close with each other and have mostly worked together, so it was a massive shock to fans when Mowry-Housley revealed that she isn’t keeping her nose on her sister’s marriage life. She revealed via Entertainment Tonight:

Tia and her ex-husband Cory Hardrict officially ended their 14-year marriage last year. Despite wanting to show her sisterly instinct, Tamera tried not to meddle with her sister’s personal affairs.
As part of her moving-on process, Tia returned to television in the docuseries Tia Mowry: My Next Act. Surprisingly, she did not inform her sister about it and the other was likewise unaware of this event. “I didn’t know until I found out with the rest of the world,” admitted Tamera. Many people expected her to appear on the screen, but she was never asked or invited, so she took it as a no.
It’s quite sad that they have now grown apart despite the many experiences and struggles they shared in the past. While Tia proves that she’s strong enough to deal with her problems, her family will always be there to support her, especially Tamera.
