The promo video pleasantly surprised fans because not only did it confirm a fourth anime season, but it also revealed an upcoming new movie for the franchise. The declaration occurred at the perfect time, as fans now have a chance to recover from the continuous One Piece fatigue.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Announces New Movie and Season 4
The fourth season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime as well as a new movie, has been greenlit by the creators, to the utter delight of fans. An announcement video was uploaded on social media platform X, via which fans learned the information. Along with the video, an illustration of Rimuru was also released.
In the video, Rimuru Tempest is seen holding a council meeting at the Tempest Manor. All of his executives are present in the meeting as it looks like Rimuru will announce something of huge importance. Turns out they were right; the protagonist joyfully announced the confirmation of the fourth season as well as the second movie of the franchise.
No additional information has been released for the new installments, be it staff or cast details. However, the existing cast members are bound to reprise their roles in the upcoming season and movie. A release window for both season 4 and the new anime movie is yet to be confirmed.

Season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has freshly concluded and it covered three arcs from Fuse’s light novel series by the same name. Season 3 concluded by adapting the Opening of the Monster City arc. The upcoming season is thus bound to adapt the Magin Behind the Scenes Arc.
