Grant Gustin Reveals If There Have Been Talks of Reprising The Flash Role
Aside from welcoming his second child with his wife, 2024 marked another major milestone for Gustin as the actor made his Broadway debut. While promoting his work in the Broadway musical Water for Elephants, Gustin spoke with Men’s Health about his family life and finally slowing down after nine seasons as the titular speedster in The Flash.
At the same time, Gustin was also asked about his conversations with DC Studios co-chairman James Gunn and whether it would lead to the actor reprising the Scarlet Speedster role sometime in the future. Responding to the same, Gustin stated:
Look, there are no doors right now that are slammed shut for me in any capacity.
Gustin added that while the possibility of reprising the role was there, fans were making too much out of his brief interaction with Gunn, with the latter expressing a desire to work with the actor in the future.
As things stand, Gustin isn’t slated to reprise his role from The Flash anytime soon but seems open to the possibility. For the time being, the actor is likely focusing on his Broadway career, receiving mostly positive reviews for his performance in the Tony Award-winning musical Water for Elephants.
