The highly anticipated first season of The Golden Bachelorette is scheduled to air on ABC Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 8/7c.
The first ever Golden Bachelorette, Joan Vassos, is known for her appearance on the first season of The Golden Bachelor. While she was an apparent frontrunner during Gerry’s season, the birth of her grandchild forced her to return home.
Now, Joan will get another chance at finding a partner to share her sunset years of life with.
Vassos is a mom of four children and a grandmother. She was also previously married to her late husband for 32 years until his death in 2021. In a moving Instagram post shared in January, she marked the three-year anniversary of his death, ABC News reports.
Where can I watch The Golden Bachelorette?
Although premiering on ABC, those without basic cable can still watch the premiere of The Golden Bachelorette on live Wednesday with either Fubo or DirecTV Stream.
