Since 1 October 2023, 1,186 millimetres have fallen in the Uccle rain gauge. This means that we have officially had the wettest twelve consecutive months since measurements began in 1833. This was confirmed by our weatherman David Dehenauw. The previous record (1,182 mm) was set between 1 September 2001 and 31 August 2002.
