Three 6 Mafia is coming to Huntsville.
The Memphis rap icons will take the stage at Huntsville’s Orion Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 21 with a lineup of company including Project Pat, Cowboy Killer and YellaWolf.

Formed in 1991 by Juicy J, DJ Paul, Lord Infamous, Three 6 Mafia rose to prominence in the ‘90s and hit the charts in the 2000s with singles including “Poppin’ My Collar” and “Stay Fly.”
In 2006, Three 6 Mafia won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp,” the feature song of the Memphis-made movie “Hustle & Flow,” starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.
In an interview during the SpringHill podcast “Two Ways About It,” Juicy J said Three 6 Mafia’s songs are sampled often, and the group sees five to six samples a day.
“I feel like the new trend is the old trend, like Three 6 Mafia, because everybody is sampling Three 6 Mafia,” Juicy said during the interview. “I get paid off pretty much every song. Like, 90% of the songs that’s out right now.”
