The UConn women’s field hockey team, going for its sixth national title, will host the first two rounds of the 18-team NCAA Tournament this weekend in Storrs. The Huskies (17-3), the No. 3 overall seed, will play UMass on Friday at noon. If they win, they would play Syracuse or Harvard on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the chance to go to the Final Four in Ann Arbor, Mich. UConn defeated UMass 1-0 during the regular season.
