On Wednesday at 9:28 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory in effect until Thursday at 1 p.m. for Choctaw, Washington, Clarke, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Escambia and Covington counties.
The weather service adds, “Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.”
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
