The US administration of President Joe Biden will ban the sale of cars that contain technology from countries deemed “of concern”, such as China and Russia. The ban will specifically target technologies that connect vehicles to other systems or networks, such as the internet and other vehicles, Washington announced. The measure is intended to “protect the United States from national security risks”.
