However, Diddy’s recent arrest caused an old interview with the former to resurface online, where the singer exposed the chaotic environment surrounding the hip-hop mogul in the mid-1990s. At the time, he was just a teenager who moved to New York to work with Diddy.

Usher’s Resurfaced Interview Revealed Shocking Details

Usher has been in the music industry since a young age. Having signed with LaFace Records at just 14, he got his breakthrough with the release of his second album, My Way (1997), which included the hit single You Make Me Wanna.

By the early 2000s, he had solidified his position as a global superstar, who then shaped the careers of many including Justin Bieber.

The singer shares a close bond with Diddy who served as a mentor and guide in his music career. As the latter got arrested for serious charges, an old interview of his mentee has been resurfacing on the Internet, giving a tumultuous view to the industry when Usher arrived in New York in 1994.

Reflecting on those years, the U Remind Me singer told Rolling Stone that it was “the hardest days of my life,” highlighting the challenges he faced as a young artist.

He was the youngest member of Diddy’s Bad Boy posse, who started unraveling the world his mentor introduced to him. The 45-year-old artist shared,

Puff introduced me to a totally different set of sh*t — s*x, specifically. S*x is so hot in the industry, man.

This revelation kept on getting bizarre as the actor who used to live at Puffy’s house in Scarsdale continued,

There was always girls around. You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an o*gy. You never knew what was going to happen.

Although the former would engage in explicit activities, he started getting much involved only in his adulthood.

Strange, but I never busted a nut before then. I’d just do it until I could tell the girl was feeling good, and then I’d stop.

His experience of the time reflected on the darker side of the music industry which led him to engage in the complexity of navigating s*xuality at a young age.

In an unexpected move, the former seemingly deleted his entire X history just days after Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, was arrested and charged with serious offense. His action left everyone in a frenzy especially when the singer is currently preparing for his highly anticipated Past, Present, Future tour.

As of Sunday, all his past tweets had disappeared, including his posts, media, and replies. Only a few highlights are available, two of which seemed to be from hackers who tweeted about cryptocurrency scams.

While many are trying to speculate the reason behind his actions, Usher claimed that his account had been hacked, sharing his situation on the platform.

His recent X incident has quickly been linked with Diddy who got arrested on Monday, after facing months of civil lawsuits accusing him of s*x trafficking, s*xual abuse, and r*pe. As for the former, he was mentioned as a potential witness in a lawsuit against Diddy by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, which alleged years of abuse.
