Gaming sensation Rachell “Valkyrae” revealed her first celebrity crush, and fans absolutely loved her choice of this Lord of the Rings star. The popular streamer has an impressive subscriber count on YouTube with over 4 million subscribers. Valkyrae began streaming on Twitch in 2015 and switched to YouTube in 2020 after signing an exclusive contract.
Valkyrae has made her film appearance in Mark Wahlberg’s The Family Plan and is set to appear in a cameo in A Minecraft Movie. She has also revealed her worst celebrity encounter in a recent chat. She went on to call out Jason Momoa for his mistreatment of crew on the sets of A Minecraft Movie.
Valkyrae’s First Celebrity Crush Is This Lord Of The Rings Star
Valkyrae is a co-owner of the gaming brand 100 Thieves. She was the first guest of 100 Thieves’ podcast Boomers vs. Zoomers!, hosted by Peter Park. During her appearance on the podcast in 2022, the host asked her about her first celebrity crush. The streamer shared that Orlando Bloom, who played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, was her first-ever crush.
Valkyrae shared, “Wait, let me think, let me think. Oh yeah, my first celebrity crush was Orlando Bloom, Lord of the Rings.” It did not come as a big surprise to her fans. Bloom and Viggo Mortensen were the heartthrobs in Hollywood when Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings came out.
Podcast host Park shared that it was a nice choice while mentioning Bloom’s role in Pirates of the Caribbean as well. However, Park shared that he was a fan of Mortensen’s Aragorn. He shared:
Oh nice, I was gonna say Pirates of the Caribbean or Lord of the Rings. I’m more of an Aragorn guy.
However, streamer Kyedae, who appeared alongside the two of them, proved to be a Zoomer when she went on to Google who Bloom was. Both Park and Valkyrae were horrified to find out that Kyedae didn’t know who Bloom was.
Valkyrae Slams Jason Momoa’s Questionable Behavior On A Minecraft Movie Set
During a recent chat with fellow streamer JasonTheWeen, Valkyrae accused Jason Momoa of mistreating the crew while filming his upcoming film, A Minecraft Movie. Valkyrae was responding to Jason’s question about her worst celebrity or streamer experience. She shared, “I have a cameo in the Minecraft movie that’s coming out. So, I would have to say, Jason Momoa.”
Valkyrae shared it was “pretty disappointing” to see him mistreat the crew. However, she shared that she was not sure whether it was part of the Aquaman actor’s method acting. The alleged incident happened after a very intense scene. However, she found that as no excuse to mistreat the people around him.

The streamer shared that she did not find the film a good work environment. She shared on JasonTheWeen’s live stream:
He was just, like, he was just really mad at them, that they weren’t doing something right. It was like setting up the shot, and stuff. He was just angry, like really mad, and yelling. So, I was like, ‘Man, this is not a good work environment. I would not be happy working under these conditions.’ So, yeah, I would probably have to say that was probably the worst celebrity thing I’ve seen.
Jason Momoa is also a producer on the film, which also stars Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge. Valkyrae’s role in the film is currently unknown. The trailer for the film received 1.5 million dislikes on YouTube, which is concerning for the film.
A Minecraft Movie will be released in theaters on April 4, 2025.
