Venezuela protested to the European Union and Spain on Tuesday over interference in its national affairs, following statements by EU diplomat Josep Borrell, who described the government of President Nicolás Maduro as “dictatorial” after arrests including two Spanish citizens, three Americans and a Czech. On Tuesday, it was announced that Venezuela had arrested a fourth American.
