Vin Diesel And Paul Walker Used To Play World of Warcraft
Well, it was during the good old days when Paul Walker and Vin Diesel were working on the Fast and the Furious franchise and no one knew who they were. It was before the time fame had found its way to Walker and Diesel.
What many people didn’t know about Walker and Vin Diesel is that both guys used to play World of Warcraft extensively! Diesel had quite an iconic story to share.
In an interview with Men’s Health, Diesel recalled their playing days and how Walker would visit his home.
No one in the world knew that they were playing Dom and Brian.
This isn’t the first experience that an actor has shared with the world about World of Warcraft. Veteran actor Henry Cavill had a similar experience with the game as well!
The story is quite famous and even veteran director Zack Snyder got a laugh out of it when he heard the tale. Cavill is a man who keeps his priorities straight.
Henry Cavill And World of Warcraft
It was the early 2010s when Cavill was busy playing World of Warcraft. Zack Snyder had come on board a deal and was ready with the creation of the DCEU and his first film was Man of Steel.
The only problem was that he was left without a Superman. That’s when Snyder called Henry Cavill to offer him the role of Superman. In a 2013 interview with GQ, here’s what Cavill had to say about that time.
And I saw it was him [Zack Snyder calling], but the thing is, you can’t save World Of Warcraft, you can’t pause it. It’s live.
When this story was told to Snyder, here’s what the director had for a reply,
Haha, that’s awesome! So, he was like, ‘Who the f*** is this bothering me? I’m playing World Of Warcraft!’ That’s great. Oh, he’s a nerd. That’s why we get on so well.
Well, it seems that millions of people are fans of World of Warcraft including celebrities like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and, Henry Cavill. Luckily, the game didn’t cost them anything career-wise.
Henry Cavill shined in the role of Clark Kent aka Superman in the 2013 film Man of Steel and the world loved him for it. Man of Steel is available to stream on Max in the U.S.
