Vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Football Player of the Week

Once again this year, readers have a chance to vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week.

Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday.

Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. They can be emailed to [email protected] .

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are the nominees from Week 4:

Dillon Alfred, Saraland: The Ole Miss commit caught 10 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns as the Spartans rolled over Spanish Fort.

Carlos Benjamin, Vigor: Benjamin finished with 15 carries for 121 yards and a 43-yard touchdown run as the Wolves remained undefeated with a win over UMS-Wright.

PJ Brown, Mobile Christian: Brown rushed for 155 yards and a TD on 21 carries as the Leopards won on the road.

Blake Brunick, Orange Beach: Brunick scored five touchdowns as the Makos won at home over W.S. Neal. The junior ran for four scores and caught a TD pass. He also had an interception and a forced fumble.

J.J. Bush, Theodore: The junior running back ran 21 times for 234 yards and two touchdowns as Theodore defeated Baldwin County 28-7.

EJ Crowell, Jackson: Crowell rushed for 251 yards on 24 carries to lead Class 4A, No. 1-ranked Jackson to a 20-13 victory over over 7A Baker on Thursday.

Shondell Harris, Mary G. Montgomery: Harris threw four touchdown passes — all in the first half — as Class 7A No. 9 Mary G. Montgomery knocked off Robertsdale. He finished 9-of-13 for 210 yards.

Myles Johnson, T.R. Miller: The Florida commit rushed for 205 yards on seven carries and scored on touchdown runs of 7,60, 2 and 96 yards — all in the first half — as Class 3A top-ranked T.R. Miller defeated Flomaton 56-7.

Saverio Lyons, LeFlore: Lyons ran for 117 yards and also had a 52-yard touchdown reception as LeFlore notched its first win of the season. He also had seven tackles, including a tackle for a loss on the final play of the game.

Anthony Frasier, St. Paul’s: Frasier rushed for 100 yards and 2 TDs on 12 carries as the Saints blanked Murphy 41-0.

Gunner Rivers, St. Michael: Rivers threw four touchdown passes as Class 4A, No. 8-ranked St. Michael remained undefeated with a 45-7 win at Satsuma. He completed 19-of-27 passes for 386 yards in three quarters of action.

Turner Tillman, St. Luke’s: The sophomore RB/LB caught a TD pass, blocked a punt and had 11.5 tackles in his team’s win over Central-Hayneville. He caught four passes for 68 yards and had five tackles for a loss.

Kolin Wilson, Gulf Shores: The Mississippi State commit rushed for 313 yards and four touchdowns in the Dolphins’ win at McGill-Toolen.
