Vote for the Cunningham Bounds Week 5 Coastal football Player of the Week

Once again this year, readers have a chance to vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week.

Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday.

Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. They can be emailed to [email protected] .

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are the nominees from Week 5:

Bishop Burkhalter, Spanish Fort: The senior returned a punt 1-yard for a touchdown, returned a fumble for another score and recorded a safety in the Toros’ rout of Murphy.

Oliver Cross, St. Paul’s: Cross had 3 sacks as the Saints stuffed Theodore in a 14-3 Class 6A, Region 1 win.

Landon Duckworth, Jackson: The QB threw for 535 yards and 5 TDs and also ran for a score in the Aggies’ 49-7 win over Mobile Christian. He was 24-of-31 overall.

Tate Graham, Baker: Graham threw for 253 yards and 3 TDs as the Hornets built a big lead on the road and held on for a win over Daphne.

Myles Johnson, T.R. Miller: The Florida commit rushed for 132 yards and 2 TDs on 12 carries and returned the opening kickoff 77 yards for a score in the Tigers’ win over Hillcrest-Evergreen.

Brody Jones, St. Michael: The junior caught 8 passes for 127 yards and a pair of scores as the Cardinals stayed undefeated with a win over Escambia County.

Reggie Moseley, Alma Bryant: Moseley blocked a Davidson field goal attempt in the final seconds, leading to Jakolby Crandle’s 95-yard return for a walk-off win. Moseley also had 7 tackles and 9 assists.

TaMyus Pugh, Clarke County: Pugh was 13-of-17 passing for 210 yards with 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He also intercepted 2 passes on defense in our 37-16 win over J.U. Blacksher.

Jamison Roberts, Saraland: Starting for the injured KJ Lacey, Roberts threw for 253 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 34-12 win at McGill-Toolen.

Kolin Wilson, Gulf Shores: The Mississippi State commit accounted for 5 TDs in the Dolphins’ win at Blount. He rushed for 161 yards and 3 TDs, caught a TD pass and threw a TD pass.
