ORWELL, Ohio (WKBN) – Fifth-seeded Warren JFK fell to ninth-seeded Cuyahoga Heights Friday night in Orwell, 21-19.
JFK took a 12-0 lead in the fourth quarter, but the Red Wolves chipped away and took a 21-13 lead in the third quarter.
The Eagles scored what could have been the go-ahead touchdown late in the third, but failed a two-point conversion attempt.
The Eagles’ season ends with a record of 10-3. Cuyahoga Heights improves to 8-4.
The Red Wolves advance to play the winner of #2 Hillsdale vs. #3 Malvern in the Division VII, Region 27 playoffs.
