Finnish-American student Oliver Russell (24) was scrolling through real estate sites when he set his sights on a private island in Finland. For just 28,000 euros, he bought the island of about one hectare, which he is now converting into his own private paradise. And he is doing so without any experience. A glamping tent, bathroom and shower are already there. He now hopes to build a log cabin there himself. He already has hundreds of thousands of followers on his Instagram profile ‘Off Grid Island’.
