On Saturday night, Sept. 9, Nina Kalauni won the Benjamin Game and received a crisp new $100 bill, in addition to her regular winnings. Additionally, she won her Benjamin on the Hot Ball which means she received an additional $100 bill. Quite a Hat Trick! VFW Bingo is held every second and fourth Saturday night of the month at the Chico Veterans Memorial Building located at 554 Rio Lindo Avenue and is open to the Public. The only exceptions are the fourth Saturdays in November and December due to the Holiday weekends. The Public is welcome. Bring a friend. The more players, the bigger the winnings! How to submit a snapshot
Snapshots, reader-submitted photos of community events, are published Monday. They may include service projects, guest speakers at club meetings, awards being presented or kids doing school projects. Just make sure there are people in the photo — no more than 12 — and keep it current.
