West Hartford PD looking for cars in connection with pedestrian death

West Hartford police are attempting to locate two motor vehicles in connection with a fatal crash that killed an 87-year-old pedestrian earlier this month.

The West Hartford Police Department and Fire Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the area of Oakwood Avenue and Saint James Street around 5:06 p.m. on Nov. 8, according to Capt. Peter Juda of the West Hartford Police Department.

The pedestrian, later identified 87-year-old Patricia Brulotte of West Hartford, was suffering from apparent serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital where she later was pronounced dead, Juda said.

The driver of the vehicle reported no injuries and was cooperating with the investigation, according to Juda. The West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division is attempting to locate two additional motor vehicles that were traveling in the area at the time of the collision.
