Recently, Austin was potted saving a fan from an Eras Tour concert after security tried to kick them out for their dress (via X), diverting fans’ attention to him. Just two years younger than the Blank Space hitmaker, Austin is an actor who has appeared in films like Live by Night, and I.T. and even starred in the sitcom Still the King. However, he has since seemed to have quit acting and was last seen in the horror thriller We Summon the Darkness.
But acting is not the only job he does, for he also likes to help out his big sister. Apart from starring in her music videos, he has also helped produce music videos like I Bet You Think About Me as well as the concert documentary film Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions as the executive producer (via IMDb).
Despite the constant spotlight on his sister, Austin prefers to remain away from the public eye and seems to have quit social media as well, for his last post on Instagram was made on February 17, 2022. While we don’t know what he has been up to in the last few years, he is currently dating model and photographer Sydney Ness (via PEOPLE).
Taylor Swift is Influential, But Not Enough to Change the Tide of US Elections
Taylor Swift is not just a singer but a global icon and a huge cultural influence across the world. While she has millions of followers worldwide, her influence in her home country, the United States of America is particularly huge. Beyong her chart-topping music, she has impacted fashion trends, economy, and socio and political trends.
Hence, often seen being dragged into political discourse, there was a widespread belief that the singer even has the fan power to somewhat potentially impact the US Presidential Elections of 2024 (see BBC). This notion particularly picked up after the Cruel Summer hitmaker publically showed her support to Kamala Harris via an Instagram post.
But we already know, there is a possibility that while Swift might have influenced her followers to some degree, the singer after all is just a singer and her showing support to Harris did little good. While it did create a havoc among her fans and tabloids, former President Donald Trump has already secured the win and will be the next president of the country.
