Wicked experience brings props, costumes and themed food to Universal Studios Hollywood – Orange County Register

The witches of Oz are headed to Universal Studios Hollywood as Elphaba and Glinda prepare to make the leap from the bright lights of Broadway to the Tinseltown big screen.

“Wicked” film props, costumes, themed food, photo ops and plenty of movie tie-in merchandise are coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and the adjacent Universal CityWalk in late October ahead of the cinematic debut of the star-studded Hollywood adaptation of the Broadway musical.

The Feature Presentation shop inside the theme park will showcase props from the film.

AMC Theatre ticket holders will be able to see costumes from the film on display when the movie debuts at the in CityWalk cinema just before Thanksgiving week.

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Voodoo Doughnuts will offer Wicked themed food and dining options at Universal CityWalk.

The Univrs store at CityWalk will be transformed into a Wicked experience with a selection of exclusive merchandise.

The Wicked merch available at the Feature Presentation and Univrs shops will include Studio MinaLima and Shiz University clothing and accessories, Loungefly bags, Noble Collection cosplay and prop replicas, Mattel, Funko and Lego toys and a host of Wicked logo swag.

“Wicked” tells the untold story of defiant social outcast Elphaba and privileged popular girl Glinda as the witches of Oz forge an unlikely sisterhood and unexpectedly empower each other.

The first “Wicked” film hits theaters on Nov. 22 with the sequel already scheduled to debut on Nov. 26, 2025.

“Wicked” stars Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner Cynthia Erivo (Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, Grammy winner Ariana Grande (“Hairspray Live”) as Glinda, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”) as Madame Morrible and Emmy nominee Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic World franchise) as The Wizard.
