A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 8:59 p.m. valid from Thursday midnight until Friday midnight for Cleburne County.
The weather service states, “East winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Trees could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” states the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
