SHEFFIELD, Ala. (WHNT) — The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) says a Killen woman was arrested after being found with over two thousand fentanyl pills Thursday.
CCSO said Rylee Jeane Burkett, 22, of Killen, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop led to police finding fentanyl pills.
The sheriff’s office said on Nov. 14, the Colbert County Drug Task Force stopped a vehicle on East 31st Street in Sheffield. CCSO said during a search of the vehicle, agents found a brown box with a sealed plastic bag containing 2,692 fentanyl pills.
Burkett was taken into custody and taken to the Colbert County Jail with a bond of $350,000.
