AN X-FACTOR star has added extra tour dates to his UK Tour, and Glasgow is on the list of cities who will benefit.

With a first show selling out in hours, the star has added a second night in Glasgow to meet the popular demand.

Olly Murs will embark on his ’15 Years of Hits’ tour in 2025, and he has confirmed he will be doing TWO shows in Glasgow.

The 40-year-old was runner-up on the hit talent show in 2009, and is set to play the OVO Hydro in May 2025.

When announcing his tour, Murs said: “Celebrating 15 unbelievable years doing what I love best will be truly special.

“But to top it off, I’m taking a band with me who I was obsessed with in my college years!

“No doubt the pranks and banter will be free flowing, but most importantly, it’s going to be a great night for the fans to enjoy, I can’t wait.”

After unprecedented demand for tickets to the show on May 2nd, Murs has announced he will play the Glasgow venue again on May 22nd.

He has also added shows in Manchester, Birmingham, and London – where his tour will come to an end.

Murs’ tour has already sold out shows in Plymouth, Brighton, Hull, Sheffield, and Cardiff, as he makes his way around the UK 15-years on from when his career took off.

He sets off on his tour on April 24, when he appears in Plymouth.

He will then stop off in Brighton, and Hull, before making the trip across the Irish sea.

After playing in Dublin, and Belfast, he will arrive in Glasgow.

After Glasgow, it’s off to the Granite City to play at P&J Live in Aberdeen.

He will then return to England to tour major cities such as Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds, and Liverpool.

After wrapping up his final gig, in London, he will then take on the extra shows added to his tour.

The tour will feature some of the biggest hits from his 15 years of fame.

His latest album, Marry Me, released in 2022 will feature alongside all of his other major hits.

Tickets for the additional show in Glasgow go on sale on Wednesday 18 September, at 10am UK time.
