Zach Bryan is off the hook for his 2023 obstruction arrest.
Michelle Lowry, a spokesperson for the Craig Country, Okla., District Attorney’s Office, told TMZ Thursday that prosecutors agreed in May to defer charging the country singer for six months.
However, due to his good behavior, prosecutors decided to drop his case altogether — as long as he can stay out of trouble with the law until Friday.
Page Six has reached out to Bryan’s rep and Lowry for comment.
The Grammy winner, 28, was arrested in September 2023 after getting verbally aggressive with police officers when he was pulled over in his home state for speeding.
They booked him on an obstruction of investigation charge but he was later released on bond.
That same night, he took to social media to show remorse for his actions.
“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.
“I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize.”
He added, “Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”
The “I Remember Everything” hitmaker also showed remorse in a video message on his Instagram Story as he apologized for getting “lippy” with the cops.
“I was an idiot today,” he said. “My decisions did not reflect who I was as a person. I just want to make that clear. I should’ve been smarter about it.”
The development in Bryan’s case comes just a week after his ex-girlfriend Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia accused him of emotional abuse and screaming at her friends during their former romance.
She also alleged he forced his exes to sign NDAs and tried to coerce her into signing one, which she refused.
“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice but to take money from you,” she claimed on the “BFFs” podcast last Thursday.
“[They] signed their experiences and what they went through away [so] you get to go skip off and sing your little f–king songs onstage like you’re a good dude.”
LaPaglia claimed Bryan offered her $12 million to stay silent about their relationship.
This week, she claimed she has more stories about Bryan she could share but has decided to keep quiet to not ruin his reputation.
