WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Six people were arrested after shots were fired toward Winston-Salem officers on Sunday, according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release.
At 12:19 a.m., Winston-Salem Police officers were conducting a follow-up investigation in the 300 Block of Motor Road when a gun was fired near them.
Officers then got into their vehicles and tried to find the suspect vehicle.
While driving around the area, two officers found a GMC pickup truck ruck in the Motor Road and Old Rural Hall Road area.
The truck pulled into a driveway, and the people inside began shooting toward officers before running away.
No one was injured.
After a chase on foot, officers arrested and charged six people.
Teodolindo Romero, 35, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with:
- felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury
- felony possession of cocaine
- misdemeanor discharging a firearm within city limits
- misdemeanor resist, delay and obstruct a public officer
He was given a $50,000 secured bond.
Jose Danilo Bonilla, 19, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with:
- felony possession of cocaine
- felony maintaining a dwelling
- misdemeanor possession of marijuana
- misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
He was given a written promise.
Ramon Antonio Gomez, 33, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with:
- misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon
He was given a written promise.
Moises Alexis Lara-Gomez, 23, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with:
- misdemeanor resist, delay and obstruct a public officer
He was given a written promise.
Eric Gil Reyes, 23, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with:
- misdemeanor restrict, delay and obstruct a public officer
He was given a written promise.

He was given a $5,000 secured bond.
Three guns, cocaine and marijuana were seized.
