A 55-year-old man was sentenced to 12 years in prison yesterday by the Criminal Court in Paphos, after finding him guilty in a case involving drugs.
The 55-year-old man was arrested together with another 38-year-old woman on 07/09/2023, where 16 kilograms of cannabis were detected and confiscated in their travel luggage upon their arrival at Paphos airport.
As for the 38-year-old, the case has been set for hearing in March, 2024.
