The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCC) have announced that from Thursday 28 March 2024 it is possible to submit applications for the Cyprus Prize Exports 2023. May 31, 2024 has been set as the last date for submitting applications.

Exporters of Industrial and Agricultural Products and Services can apply, provided they meet the relevant criteria. Those interested can obtain the regulations and criteria of the Cyprus Export Award, as well as application forms, from the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (Konstantinos Anastasiou, tel.: 22867192, e-mail:(email protected)Vassilis Sergiou tel.: 22867268 e-mail: (email protected)), the website of the Trade Service and the Department of Services and Digitization of the KEBE (tel.: 22889890, fax: 22667593, e-mail: (email protected)).

The maximum number of Prizes awarded will be:

• Two for industrial products, in different branches each award where possible, at the absolute discretion of the Committee.

• One for agricultural products.

• A Special Award for industrial products.

• Five for services, which concern the following areas:

o An Award for businesses in the Financial Services sector.

o An Award for businesses in the Maritime Transport and Merchant Shipping sector.

o An Award for businesses in the Tourism Services sector,

o An Award for businesses in the Telecommunications, Information and Information sector,

o A General Service Award for businesses in other sectors, (eg Universities, Healthcare, etc.)

The institution of the Cyprus Export Award, co-organized by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and the KEBE, began in 1982 with the aim of recognizing and rewarding outstanding efforts to increase exports of Cypriot industrial and agricultural products and services. In the 42 years of operation of the institution, several companies from the entire spectrum of export trade were awarded, which benefited to a large extent by making use of the Award for promotion purposes, especially abroad.
