It’s been deemed the “most successful dating show in the world”, resulting in more than 180 marriages and 410 children. And after the finale of season 2 of the US version aired, everyone is wondering if Nathan and Taylor are still together because they’ve been giving mixed clues on social media.
The premise of the show is that farmers—who find it difficult to find spouses because of their isolating professions—are introduced to women from the city as potential life partners. “In a trend that’s been sweeping America over the last few years, there’s been a migration from city centers to suburban and rural locales, and with that, love follows,” a press release from FOX reads.
The new crop of farmers—Ty Ferrell, Mitchell Kolinsky, Brandon Rogers and Nathan Smothers—host a group of single women who leave behind the comfort and convenience of city life for the charms and challenges of country living, as they embark on an adventure that could change the course of their lives forever.
With diverse backgrounds in cattle ranching, citrus, potato and barley farming, horse training and more, the upcoming season promises an even more in-depth look at the pursuit of genuine love as each farmer and their group of hopeful singles meet and mutually select one another before the women are invited to experience life on their respective farm. From there, the farmers show each group what it is really like on an actual working farm, from tending to the land, harvesting crops and feeding cattle, to the behind-the-scenes business operations. Are Nathan & Taylor still together? They’re certainly being coy about it all and while they still follow each other on social media, they haven’t posted anything about themselves as a couple since the finale.
Nathan chose Taylor over Allye in the finale episode of Farmer Wants A Wife season 2 of the US version, but it’s unclear if they’re still together because they’re certainly being coy about it all. In an Instagram post shared the day after the finale, Nathan wrote: “Tune in next week to see if Taylor and I are still together!” in a collaborative post with Taylor. Given the playful nature of this post, we surmise they’re still together.
In the finale, he told her, “The big thing that I’ve been concerned about is if you were willing to move to Florida,” he continued. “I want to go on this road with you and I don’t expect you to move right now, but I’m crazy about you.”
She said in response, “I feel like you’re everything I’ve been looking for in life. You’re like my best friend now and I feel like that’s somebody that that’s worth making that sacrifice for and just taking that leap of faith with.”
On Reddit, one user commented: “I read Nathan and Taylor split already. Which made me sad,” though no source was given for the information. “I was wondering that because on her Instagram she still lives in Dallas,” another commented.
What’s really nice, however, is that Taylor and Allye have seemingly formed a friendship, with Taylor referring to the Farmer runner-up as her “bestie” in an Instagram post shared before the finale aired.
