The Royal Guard left royal fans baffled once again when they shouted ‘make room’ at a pair of pigeons blocking the pavement outside Buckingham Palace.

The soldiers confronted me hilarious way the birds, calling to them, as they moved forward.

In particular, the royal guard shouted to the birds: “make room”. The birds got scared, so they flew away. The guards then continued to march down the sidewalk.

Although many see them as tourist attractions, the King’s Guard is made up of elite serving soldiers whose mission is to protect the life and property of the monarch.

Disrespectful tourists have repeatedly caused outrage by taunting royal guards, and last week a series of videos emerged showing the many times armed police had to step in and stop them.

Someone, according to the dailymail, said: “The birds flew over them.”

The king’s guards are generally not allowed to interact with the public, but may shout if they get too close or present their bayonets if threatened.

Soldiers must not let anything distract them from their duties.
