Cannabis convention XpoCanna returns to Mohegan Sun late February with competitions, speakers and more

XpoCanna, The Connecticut Cannabis Expo, is back for its third year later this month, according to a release.

The festivities take place Feb. 24 and 25 at the Sky Convention Center at Mohegan Sun.

“We are thrilled to be back for another year of XpoCanna, where we come together to celebrate the progress, setbacks, and potential of the cannabis industry in Connecticut,” said organizers of XpoCanna. “Our event serves as a testament to the dedication and resilience of our community as we navigate the landscape of cannabis laws and regulations.”

CT’s getting a new kind of cannabis dispensary. It’s drive-through Sativa Moonrocks instead of mocha lattes.

The X Cup awards ceremony will be hosted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the XCup lounge as New England’s most rigorously tested and judged cannabis competition, according to the release.

Visitors can attend a new glass blowing competition as well, presented by Blazin’ J’s & FoGlass, featuring twelve local artists. There will also be a medley of speakers and lecturers, including Erik Williams and Meg Sanders.

Single day tickets are $20 per person, with weekend tickets costing $30. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. through 6 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. through 5 p.m.
