PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio
Disorderly conduct intoxicated, Pearl Road: On May 3, police and fire were dispatched to a Pearl Road address regarding a report of a man who collapsed on a sidewalk.
The arriving first responders located the Lakewood resident, who it turned out was drunk.
The man was arrested for disorderly conduct intoxicated.
Drug abuse, Pearl Road: During a May 2 traffic stop of a Dodge Journey for a moving violations on Pearl Road, police discovered the Cleveland resident not only didn’t have a driver’s license but also had an open container of alcohol, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
After passing a field sobriety test, the woman was cited for driving without a license, drug abuse, drug paraphernalia possession and open container.
Expired plates, Stumph Road: On May 3, police observed a 2007 Ford F150 with expired plates traveling on Stumph Road.
While talking to the Cleveland driver, the officer discovered they were in possession of drug paraphernalia.
The man was cited for expired plates and drug paraphernalia possession.
Assault, Beverly Drive: On May 3, a Beverly Drive resident came to the police station to report a recent assault.
The man said he knows the suspect. Police are investigating.
Weapons charge, Pearl Road: During a May 4 traffic stop of a gray Nissan Altima for no rear license plate light while traveling on Pearl Road, police discovered the Cleveland driver had a gun and felony drugs.
The man, 18, received a weapons charge and also was cited for drug abuse.
Drug abuse, York Road: On May 1, police observed a Toyota Prius with darkly-tinted windows traveling on York Road.
While talking to the Cleveland man, the officer smelled marijuana.
The driver was cited for drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal window tint.
