Release requests funds concerning Ministries, public law organizations and departments of the public service were approved on Friday by the Parliamentary Finance Committee.
Specifically, among other things, the Finance Committee approved the release of a fund amounting to €1,989,827 for the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works cfor the needs of the administration and its departments, while for the Department of Public Works a fund of €500.00 was approved for the preparation of a safety assessment study of the entire road network (Network-wide rσad safetγ assessment), based on a European obligation.
It also approved the release of a €200,000 fund for the performance of primary earthquake control in public buildings and a €80,000 fund for various road projects.
In addition, the Finance Committee approved the release of credits beyond €1.2 million from the 2024 budget, for the needs of purchasing services from the Housing Financing Organization.
In more detail, an amount of €723,860 concerns the purchase of expert/consultant services for the preparation of studies, an amount of €435,120 for a service contract, while a fund of €50,000 concerns computerization costs and €25,000 for Payment Systems costs.
Also, the Commission approved the release of a fund from the budget of the Authority for Public Supervision of the Auditing Profession (ADEEElEp) of a total amount of approximately €392,700 which concerns, in particular, the purchase of services of Quality Assurance inspectors, amounting to €238,000, an IT Inspector, amounting to €59,500 and Research Officers amounting to €95,200.
Finally, the Finance Committee approved the release of a fund of €1,520,500 from the AND budget for purchasing services from natural persons.
