The teen died in 2018 in part of an EastEnders knife crime storyline when he was stabbed by a young gang leader.

Shaheen, now 27, has been revealed as one of the new cast members on the second season of BBC Three show Wreck.

The comedy horror follows a the story of a young man called Jamie as he gets a job on a cruise ship to find out what happened to his missing sister.

She had been working on the same boat just three months beforehand when she mysteriously vanished.

Velorum, the company that run the cruise, claim that Pippa ended her life by jumping into the ocean – but her teen brother doesn’t buy the story.

While the rest of the crew seem oblivious, wrapped up in partying and debauchery, Jamie attempts to investigate a series of murders he discovers taking place on board.

The end of season one saw him make a discovery about a huge secret on the ship that explained why crew members kept dying.

Season two is going to be set a few months after the bloody finale of the first series.

A group of survivors led by Jamie prepare to fight back against the sinister Velorum – on land this time.

They plan to expose the company’s misdeeds, and to do that, have to go undercover at the organisation’s new wellness festival in the remote Slovenian countryside.

Shaheen is just one of the new actors that will be joining the show for its second series, alongside TV legend Alan Dale, Greg Austin, Carolyn Bracken, Niamh Walsh, Buck Braithwaite, Bradley Riches, Sam Buttery, Phil Martin, and Orlando Norman.
