When will Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 6 be released?
The next season of the popular Formula 1 docu-series Drive to Survive is set to air on Friday, February, 23, 2024 – which will also mark the final day of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The show typically airs around the start of the new F1 season and is expected to feature 10 new episodes.
The series presents never-before-seen footage of the action both on and off the track – from mid-season team roster changes and simmering rivalries to internal struggles and race day revelations

In May 2022, it was confirmed a sixth series of the show would be happening as part of a two-season renewal.
A statement said: “The series has grown in popularity over time, with Season 4 attracting the biggest audience to date and breaking into the weekly Top 10 in 56 countries.
“Offering unprecedented access, the new season will once again take fans behind the scenes to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams prepare to battle it out for the 2022 and 2023 championships.Â
“The series will offer never-before-seen footage and interviews from the sport’s biggest names.”
The Netflix documentary series has proved a major hit since hitting the small screens after the 2018 Formula One season.
What will Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 6 be about?
Season six of the F1 fix follows the action of the 2023 season, including ”the moves and machinations that take place before rubber even touches the road”.
Discussing the upcoming release, Netflix wrote: ”The series presents never-before-seen footage of the action both on and off the track — from mid-season team roster changes and simmering rivalries to internal struggles and race day revelations.
”New talent and familiar faces get a chance to prove themselves behind the wheel, disappointing results force teams to quickly regroup, and team principals fight to keep their teams afloat.”
In 2024, ahead of the sixth series, Netflix released the show’s official trailer, which featured familiar F1 faces such as Lewis Hamilton and Lance Stroll.
Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who won 19 out of 22 races in 2023, is also expected to feature alongside team-mate Sergio Perez.
