Brock’s working on a healthier relationship with his estranged children
When Brock and Scheana traveled to Australia to spend Christmas and New Year’s with his family, he explained during the January 12 episode of their podcast, Scheananigans, that he did not get to see his two children.
“I need to show them, keep turning up and show them that I am the dad that I want to be and that they want to be around,” he said. “So that’s first and foremost… We’re working on a healthier relationship, or a better relationship, with the kids’ mom and their stepdad. And the goal is to just be on time with my child support every month, make sure that payment goes across, and just continually turns up.”
He continued: “It’s a tough one. I wish I could tell everybody like, ‘Yeah we’re going, we’re meeting up, we’re doing this,’ but it’s gonna take time. We’re dealing with kids… There’s a whole bunch of things changing in their life and I don’t want to be another one in there. I think they have a loving dad, a loving half-sister, and a beautiful family. So, you know, right now that’s not their priority and I understand that.”
During season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, Brock explained that seeing his kids is “more complicated than me kicking in the front door and seeing my kids. The situation between me and my ex was toxic, and yeah, there was an instance one time. And I did slap my partner. I did. I’m not proud of that,” he revealed in a November 2021 episode. “We had an argument and I slapped her.”
