HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — As you’re spending more time outdoors this summer, it’s important to self-exam yourself for skin cancer.

In the FOX8 House Call, Dr. Sarah Taylor, a dermatologist with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, tells us that doctors are seeing more young people with the disease.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Dermatology will host two free skin cancer screenings on Thursday, May 9. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., you can stop by one of two locations:

  • 4618 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem
  • 5826 Samet Drive, High Point
