Gov. Ned Lamont has ordered all U.S. and state flags in the state be lowered to half-staff Friday, March 29, in honor of the late former U.S. Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, according to a release.
Lieberman passed away Wednesday, March 27, following complications from a fall.
All other flags should be lowered accordingly, as well.
The funeral service will be held at Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, according to the release.
