Late first-half surge lifts Western soccer past Northwest

PARMA – For much of the first half the Northwest soccer team held Western at bay in Tuesday’s Interstate 8 matchup at Ron Rudland Field at the Panther Bowl.

But eventually the Panthers offense was able to break through, generating four goals in the final 23 minutes of the first half in a 4-0 win.
