Alabama men’s basketball’s NCAA Tournament journey begins Friday evening in Spokane, Washington. The Crimson Tide, a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament, will look to start off on the right foot, facing off with Charleston in the round of 64 to begin March Madness.
The Tide has been stumbling of late, with a rough final stretch of the regular season, followers by a one-and-done exit in the SEC Tournament after earning a double-bye. The Cougars enter the tournament after winning the Coastal Athletic Association title.
It’s been a rough first round for teams from Alabama, with Samford, UAB and Auburn all dropping. The Crimson Tide will try and buck the trend, starting at 6:35 p.m. CT.
