Below are available stats and highlights for Michigan football commits from last week. The Wolverines holds 25 verbal pledges in the 2024 class and two in 2025.
Of note, Michigan four-star quarterback commit Jadyn Davis and three-star receiver Channing Goodwin were on bye this week.
Four-star running back Jordan Marshall, Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller
In a battle between two of the top programs in Ohio, Marshall rushed 25 times for 153 yards and one touchdown in a 20-10 win over St. Xavier, where Michigan three-star defensive line commit Ted Hammond plays. Marshall, the No. 74 player in the country, also caught one pass on a wheel route for 21 yards. His touchdown run can be viewed here. According to On3′s Zach Libby, Hammond finished with three tackles.
Three-star running back Micah Ka’apana, Las Vegas Bishop Gorman
National powerhouse Bishop Gorman (5-0) continues to roll along this season with a 49-6 win over Henderson (Nevada). Ka’apana carried five times for 61 yards and caught one passes for 13 yards. The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder is ranked No. 583 nationally and is averaging 12.1 yards per carry this season.
Four-star receiver I’Marion Stewart, Chicago Kenwood Academy
The No. 314 overall prospect scored two touchdowns in a 48-12 win over Chicago Simeon, but neither were on a reception. He returned a punt for a touchdown, which can be watched here, and then scored on an end-round (watch here).
Three-star cornerback Jo’Ziah Edmond, Nappanee (Ind.) Northwood
Northwood dropped its second straight game with a 45-21 loss to Warsaw (Ind.). Edmond, who ranks No. 703 nationally, totaled five tackles but didn’t receive any touches on offense. Northwood four-star receiver Nitro Tuggle, a top Michigan target who is committed to Georgia, led the team with nine receptions for 173 yards.
Four-star safety Jacob Oden, Harper Woods
Oden recorded 10 tackles, two pass breakups and a touchdown in a 56-26 win over Rochester. He is ranked No. 216 overall.
Four-star linebacker Jaden Smith, West Charlotte (N.C.)
The No. 264 prospect had a team-high 11 tackles, including one for loss, and a blocked field goal in a 17-15 win over Charlotte Mallard Creek.
Four-star defensive lineman Owen Wafle, Princeton (N.J) Hun School
Wafle wreaked havoc in the backfield in a 28-7 victory over Avon (Conn.) Old Farms, finishing with six tackles, including three for loss and 1 ½ sacks. He is the No. 412 prospect in the country.
Three-star linebacker Cole Sullivan, Pittsburgh Central Catholic
Sullivan had five tackles, including a sack in a 49-0 win over Pittsburgh Mt. Lebanon. He also had one catch for 6 yards.
2025 CLASS
Four-star cornerback Chris Ewald, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna
Ewald and Chaminade-Madonna prevailed 28-16 against American Heritage in a matchup between two of the best programs in the country. The top-100 prospect totaled five tackles and two pass breakups.
Four-star defensive lineman Bobby Kanka, Howell
The No. 328 overall player had eight tackles, including one for loss in a 28-16 win over Plymouth.
