LAS VEGAS (WAVY) – Norfolk native Keyshawn Davis is now 10-0 in his professional boxing career after a sixth round TKO of Jose Pedraza Thursday night in Las Vegas.

It was Davis’ first fight since October of 2023. After a fight against Nahir Alright, Davis’ win was ruled a ‘no contest’ after the former Olympic Silver Medalist tested positive for marijuana after the fight. Davis was suspended for 90 days.

Davis made it a point to start fast against Pedraza, landing 76 total punches in the first three rounds.

“I’m coming out there from round one to fight him, I’m not waiting no time at all,” Davis told WAVY Sports Director Craig Loper on Tuesday afternoon during an interview. “I usually wait one or two rounds to feel out my opponent to see what he’s coming with. Not this time.”

Point proven.
