AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — Mayfield’s Nick Biega had some unfinished business at the end of the 2022 track and field season. A runner-up finisher in the Division I Austintown Regional 100 and 200, Biega did the same at the state meet.
He trained hard during the offseason, which saw him commit to Ohio State for track. After winning races all over the place throughout the season, Biega moved one step closer to his final goal Friday, climbing to the top of the podium by sweeping the 100 and 200 and anchoring the 4×200 to a championship.
