A particularly important act of empathy by a student of the Paphos Technical School, happened today during school lessons. The student shaved his head in order to support his cancer-stricken teacher.
In a video that is making the rounds on the internet, it is characteristically stated that, “in these days, humanity and the mood of support are unfortunately not self-evident concepts”.
So the video shows a woman in the hair salon shaving her hair. The woman in the video is a cancer patient and appears to be collapsing while the student was shaving her hair.
However, what he didn’t expect was what happened next. Her student, in order to show her his support, also shaves his head.
“Well done son…I’m so proud of you..❤,” the post concluded.
