Taylor Swift allegedly had Kanye West removed from his seats at Allegiant Stadium after the rapper tried to upstage her at the Super Bowl on Sunday, according to former NFL star Brandon Marshall.

The popstar, 34, cheered on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they sealed back-to-back Super Bowl victories with a 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The songstress has attended several of the tight end’s NFL games and has regularly attracted attention, being shown on broadcasts watching on from her VIP suites.

However, Kanye was also in Sin City over the weekend and reportedly had plans to upstage Taylor.

Marshall, a former wide receiver who played for a number of teams during his NFL career, alleged that Kanye had intentionally bought seats at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, in front of Taylor’s VIP box.

Former wide receiver Brandon Marshall claimed Taylor 'made a call' to get Kanye removed

Former wide receiver Brandon Marshall claimed Taylor ‘made a call’ to get Kanye removed

But his alleged plans were foiled, according to Marshall, who went on to claim that the Anti-Hero hitmaker ‘made a call’ to have him removed from the stadium entirely.

Marshall suggested that Kanye was strategically placing himself in front of Taylor’s suite to photobomb all her appearances on the broadcast, when the cameras would inevitably cut to the girlfriend of Kelce.

‘Taylor Swift gets p****d off. She boom boom makes a call or two. Everybody’s involved. He gets kicked out the stadium,’ Marshal said on the I AM ATHLETE podcast. ‘He was trying to leverage her celebrity.’

However, it is unclear where Marshall got his information from and there is nothing to suggest there is any truth to his allegations.

The former NFLer did also initially confuse Taylor with fellow popstar Katy Perry while making his claims.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for both Swift and Kanye.

The rapper was captured wearing a face covering with a crucifix on the front and an all-black leather outfit with Censori matching him.

Kanye was fully stepping into enemy territory Sunday with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian also in attendance at the big game.

Kanye’s marriage to Kim officially ended in 2021, and she has since begun dating Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Taylor has endured a controversial history with Kanye, stemming as far back 2009 when 19-year-old Taylor was at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Taylor's feud with Kanye stems as far back as 2009, when he interrupted her acceptance speech the Best Female Video award for You Belong with Me

Taylor’s feud with Kanye stems as far back as 2009, when he interrupted her acceptance speech the Best Female Video award for You Belong with Me

The young star was accepting the Best Female Video award for You Belong with Me when, out of the blue, Kanye burst on to the stage, grabbed the microphone from her in the middle of her acceptance speech and shouted: ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!’

In a bid to diffuse the tension, Beyonce later called Taylor up on stage when she won Video of the Year for Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), and allowed the then-country music star a moment in the spotlight.

The rapper’s feud with Taylor escalated after he wrote his 2016 track Famous to include a vulgar reference to the songstress in the lyrics, which she took offense to, sparking an epic feud.

The accompanying music video for Famous also depicted a naked Taylor lying in his bed next to him – along with a whole host of other celebrities – with nude Kim on the other side.

In Famous, Kanye rapped: ‘For all my South Side n****s that know me best/ I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b***h famous.’

Kanye defended the line, claiming he had a conversation with Taylor and that she had consented to the lyric ahead of time, which she denied.

Swift continued to accuse Kanye of lying about asking her permission to reference her in his lyrics which prompted now ex-wife Kim to release a partial recording of the call in question.

Kanye claimed Taylor had consented to it but, after denying it, Kim also weighed in a released 'an illegally recorded phone call' between the pair which she claimed proved otherwise

‘I’m really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song. It’s just a really cool thing to do, and a really good show of friendship,’ Taylor is heard saying.

Taylor hit back by claiming that although Kanye spoke through some aspects of the lyrics, she did not consent to being referred to as a ‘b***h.’

Taylor opened up on the ordeal during her interview with TIME after being named the magazine’s Person of the Year in December.

She said that the public fallout said it felt like ‘a career death,’ adding: ‘Make no mistake — my career was taken away from me.’

Discussing the aftermath and the brutal toll that it took on her wellbeing, Taylor told the outlet: ‘You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.’

Taylor Swift has slammed Kim Kardashian for 'taking her down psychologically' and forcing her into hiding during their long-running feud

Taylor Swift has slammed Kim Kardashian for ‘taking her down psychologically’ and forcing her into hiding during their long-running feud

‘That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls.’

As a result of the fallout, Taylor disappeared from the public eye, widely believed to have rented a home in London amid the beginning of her relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, who she split with last year.

‘I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard,’ she told TIME.

Most of the pop icon’s next album Reputation, released in 2017, was aimed at her experience during the ordeal.
